User Data Deletion Instructions
Compliance with Meta (Facebook) & Google Data Policies
Under the Meta Platform Terms and global privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA), users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data collected through BookCollector (https://books.midhaan.in).
How to Request Deletion of Your Data
If you authenticated using Facebook or Google and would like your account and all associated data permanently erased, you may request deletion using either of the methods below:
Method 1: Remove via Facebook Account Settings
- Go to your Facebook Profile’s Settings & Privacy → Settings.
- In the left sidebar, navigate to Apps and Websites.
- Find BookCollector in the active apps list and click Remove.
- Check the box to delete all posts, videos, or events, and confirm your removal. Facebook will automatically dispatch a secure data deletion request to our servers.
Method 2: Direct Email Request
You may also send an email from the email address associated with your account to:
support@midhaan.in
Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line. We will process your request and permanently delete your account, saved reading logs, and social tokens within 48 business hours.
